Since 2006, Vibes Design has designed, built and looked after websites for Australian businesses. Over those years one type of phone call has become more common, and more stressful for the people making it: “Our website has been hacked. Can you help?”
Sometimes it is a site we built. Often it is not. A previous developer has moved on, the plugins have not been updated in years, and the business owner is staring at a Google warning, a redirect to a spam site or a hosting suspension notice.
We have been quietly fixing these websites for a long time. Now that work has its own home.
Meet Dr Web
Dr Web is a specialist WordPress recovery, repair and security service from the team behind Vibes Design. It focuses on one thing: getting serious website problems diagnosed and fixed properly, then keeping them from coming back.
Dr Web helps with:
- Hacked WordPress and malware removal: investigating how the site was compromised, removing malicious code and backdoors, and restoring it cleanly.
- Emergency WordPress repair: for websites that are down, showing a critical error or broken after an update.
- WordPress security and hardening: closing the gaps before an attacker finds them.
- WordPress care plans: ongoing updates, verified backups, firewall and monitoring, with a hack-cleanup guarantee on Business and Commerce plans.
Why a separate business?
Building a beautiful website and recovering a compromised one are different jobs. Recovery work is urgent, forensic and security-led. Clients in the middle of an incident need a clear process, fixed-price assessments and plain-English reports, not a design agency’s project workflow.
Dr Web gives that work a dedicated process, from a free WordPress hack checker to anonymised Recovery Files that show exactly what we find and fix in real incidents.
What this means for Vibes Design clients
Nothing changes with Vibes Design. We continue to design, build and support websites exactly as before. What you gain is direct access to a specialist recovery and security team when you need one. If your website ever shows signs of trouble, such as unexpected redirects, a “this site may be hacked” warning or an outage you cannot explain, Dr Web is the fastest way to get help.
